Influenster.com Review and Products Review!

Hey guys!

If you're new to my blog and haven't seen my previous posts about the amazing Influenster, please sign up! Basically, it is a website where you sign up, fill out your profile, and start earning badges. To earn badges you can post to social media, write product reviews, or take surveys! There are expert, master, and lifestyle badges. The badges qualify you for campaigns in which you can receive awesome products! If you would like an invitation to join please comment your email and I can send you an invitation. You can also visit their website at: www.influenster.com

Now time for the product review of some of the products I have recieved complementary of Influenster:

ImPress Press-On Manicure: I'm not a fan of stick on nails because they make my hands look weird when I wear them. These were pretty good quality, but they didn't stay on for very long. This might have been because I have weirdly shaped fingers. Overall, these were not the best. 6/10

NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eye-liner Pencil: This is far too thick for eyeliner and the glitter didn't really show up. I used it for halloween. The texture is pretty smooth, but smudges easily. 5/10

Necco Tropical Wafers: These were basically sugary chalk. They were gross! 1/10

Pentel EnerGel-X Campaign: I'm a pen snob and these qualified. They write incredible smoothly and easily! For awhile this was the only pen that I would use. 9/10

Energy Sheets: These don't actually give you energy, but they taste fairly good, and have good packaging. These are more like breath strips than energy sheets.

Mary Kay® Cheek Brush: This brush was very large which is good for blending, but it was not soft, in fact it kind of hurt to apply makeup. Additionally, it sheds quite a bit for the amount of times that I have used it. 5/10

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush: I don't use brushes to apply eyeshadow, so I feel like it would be unfair of me to judge this. It seems to have the same problems as the blush brush, but it is a good size. N/A

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist: Not the best color but a really good eyeshadow base for powder shadows. 7/10

Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color in Strawberry Cream: I love this! It is an amazing color for my skin tone and has the perfect amount of shimmer!  The consistency is really smooth, so it applies easily! I wear it everyday! It's a light shimmery pink with gold flecks! 9/10

Mary Kay® Gel Eyeliner With Expandable Brush Applicator: This is so easy to apply! I am absolutely awful at applying eyeliner, but I had no trouble applying this! It has great pigment, so you only need to go over each line once. Just be warned it does smear easily at first. 9/10

Mary Kay® Translucent Loose Powder: This really makes your skin matte! Because it is translucent it can be used on any skin tone which is awesome! One thing is that since it is a loose powder it can be hard to apply. 10/10

Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Mango-Tango (No longer available): This is very thick and very pigmented. It is a great consistency, but the color was too bright and orange for my skin. 7/10

Keurig 2.0: I am in love with my Keurig. At first I was having problems getting the machine to brew a full cup, but eventually, with a few restarts it started brewing perfectly! I love being able to make a cup of coffee at the touch of a button. When you receive your machine it comes with a buy 2 get 2 free coupon for k-cups (with machine registration). I often get sick after drinking coffee so I ordered apple cider, chai tea latte, pumpkin spice, and vanilla coffee k-cups. All were delicious except the chai tea latte. That had a very weird unappealing flavor. 9/10

I also received the J'adore VoxBox and Celestial Seasons Voxbox, but I don't really remember the products in these boxes. If you would like to check out an unboxing video that I did on the J'adore Voxbox check it out here: www.youtube.com

Keurig 2.0 Review

This post isn't so much about beauty or makeup, but rather about a coffee maker. Recently I recieved the Keurig 2.0 from Influenster. If you are wondering what that is please check out several of my past posts where I go into detail about what the program is about. If you would like an invitation feel free to comment your email below and I would be happy to send you an invitation. Basically the system allows you to put in several different flavor packs to brew either a cup or a carafe. The ability to make a carafe sets this apart from previous Keurig brewers. If you are interested in buying a Keurig 2.0 they are $199: http://www.keurig.com/mobile/shop/sellGroup.aspx?ID=Keurig-2-0-K550-Brewing-System(KeurigRetail)

Now onto the review. I am in love with my Keurig.

Overall, I really love my machine and really recommend it! I give it a 9/10!

Influenster Mary Kay Voxbox!

I think it has been over a year since I wrote my last blog post! But anyway, I received another Voxbox from Influenster! If you don't know what Influenster is, check out my old blog posts, I went more in depth in them about how to sign up. This box was the Mary Kay box and it was full of tons of Mary Kay makeup!

The blush brush: This brush was very large which is good for blending, but it was not soft enough, in fact it kind of hurt to apply makeup. Additionally, it sheds white a bit for the amount of times that I have used it. Overall: 2.5/5

The cream eye shadow: I really love the color of this eyeshadow! It's a great base, but it's too sheet and creases easily, so it is not the best to wear alone.
Overall: 3.5/5

Not Your Mothers

I have had the Not Your Mothers Beach Babe texturizing sea salt spray for a few months now and I am pleased. I have incredibly curly hair, so it didn't make the "beach waves" that it would if you have straight hair, but it did calm my curls down to make them wavier. If you have straight hair and you want to get the wavy look you get at the beach I recommend getting this spray. If you have curly hair like my, don't waste your money.

This week I received my Sweetheart Voxbox from Influenster. If you don't know what Influenster is, check them out here: http://www.influenster.com. In my box i received several thing including another Not Your Mothers product. The box came with the She's a Tease Volumizing Hair Spray. I don't use hair spray incredibly often, but I do use it to hold flyaways when I have my hair straight or up. This hairspray did hold my hair very well, but it is crunchy, so if you hate crunchy hair I don't recommend it. It also gives your hair nice body. The smell is not good. It's apple blossom and bamboo scented, so I figured it would smell florally, it smelled like bark.

I do love the Not Your Mothers brand and I can't wait to try out more of their products! Remember to check out Influenster!

Thank You for reading!

Influester College Voxbox

This is the first influenster Voxbox that I've gotten. If you don't know what Influenster is, it's a completely free service. You sign up and take surveys and do certain tasks to earn points and badges that best suit you. Once they are sending out a Voxbox that you qualify for Influenster will send you an email asking if you want the Voxbox. This month was the College Voxbox. It came with five items that go along with the theme. Overall I was not very impressed with the products in the box.

ImPress Press-On Manicure
They are easy to apply and take off, and in a different design they might look a little better. I got the pattern "Wink Wink" and I don't love it. They look like the cheap press on nails you can buy at the drug store.

NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eye-liner Pencil
The pigment of this eyeliner was great, and the glitter is fairly good quality, but the liner smudges easily  and is the quality of what it is, a drugstore liner.
Necco Tropical Wafers
These are disgusting. They are like the originals, chalky, overly sweet, TUMS like flavor, and too hard to chew. Overall they are nasty, but still addicting. The best flavor is coconut, tastes true to most coconut flavors. Worst flavor Mango, it tastes like armpit.
Pentel EnerGel-X Campaign
It's pretty much your typical pen. Nothing very special. It writes easily, very smoothly.
Energy Sheets
Definitely the winner! They give me energy for hours, taste fairly good, and good packaging. Very good for all-nighters and exam days!

Feather Hair Extensions

5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are awesome! If you feel like changing your hair without cutting it or dying it feather hair extensions are great! You can straighten, curl, blow dry, brush and shower with them in! They last for up to eight weeks and they are reusable! If you have dark hair I recommend getting a brighter color so that they pop more, but if you decide to go for a more natural look they have a variety of browns, whites, blondes and blacks.

O.P.I shatter nail polish

This is AMAZING! 5 stars!!!!! O.P.I is part of the new Katy Perry collection. It is matte black and beautiful. When you put on top of any nail polish it separates and gives it a shattered effect! You can buy it at ULTA for 5.50. You should get it for an east manicure!
